The first version had the note "Created by Arab Atlas" which was removed in the second file version?!. Is the map a own work by User:Arab League? Apparently not according to the watermark. Is the source map public domain? Saibo (Δ) 01:55, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Comment My understanding is that Arab Atlas is a pseudonym or the name of a project by the uploader, User:Arab League, although I'd like clarification as well. - Comment He is on the English Wikipedia Arab World Project, so I suppose that's the reason he placed the watermark, also maybe he wanted to unify all the maps he has created: en:Wikipedia:WikiProject_Arab_world/Images,_maps_and_media/Gallery. Rules say watermarks are baaad and must be removed, so it was effectively removed. Can't see any reason to delete. Serg!o (talk) 15:55, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
